Podcasts and Creators.

Rachel Sellers - Voice over for podcasts and creators

The first ten seconds of a podcast or video decide whether someone keeps listening. A professional intro tells new listeners straight away that your show is worth their time, and a warm, well-paced outro turns them into subscribers.

I voice podcast intros and outros, show and season trailers, and sponsor reads that sound like a genuine recommendation rather than an advert. I also narrate for YouTube channels and content creators, from explainers and countdowns to travel, history and lifestyle videos.

Whether your show is a business podcast, a true-crime series or a cosy chat about baking, I’ll match the tone of your brand and your audience. And because I keep my recording set-up consistent, every new episode, season trailer or updated outro will sound exactly like the last.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long should a podcast intro be? Most podcast intros work best at between 15 and 30 seconds. That’s long enough to say what the show is about and who it’s for, and short enough that listeners get to the content quickly. I can also record a shorter 5–10-second version for episodes where you want to get straight in.

Can you record a sponsor read for my podcast? Yes. I record host-style sponsor reads and podcast ad spots for pre-roll, mid-roll and post-roll placements. I’ll make them sound like a natural recommendation, and I’ll deliver them in the length and format your hosting platform or ad network needs.

Do you narrate for YouTube channels? Yes. I narrate for YouTube channels and content creators, including faceless channels where the presenter doesn’t appear on screen. I can record single videos or a regular series, with a consistent sound from one episode to the next.

Can you update my intro later so it matches the original? Yes. I keep my studio set-up and delivery consistent, so new season trailers, updated outros or sponsor changes will match your existing recordings.
