Frequently Asked Questions

Do you narrate audiobooks? Yes. I’m a British female audiobook narrator, and I record adult fiction, non-fiction and children’s audiobooks in my own broadcast-quality studio. I deliver edited, chapter-by-chapter files to the technical standards that audiobook retailers and distributors require.

Can you voice a trailer or advert for my book? Yes. I voice book trailers, radio and streaming launch ads, and short social media ads for Instagram, TikTok and BookTok. I can also record a short extract or retail sample to use in your promotion.

I’m an independent author. Can you help? Absolutely. I work with independent and self-published authors as well as publishers. Send me your manuscript or a sample chapter, and I’ll record a short custom audition so you can hear how your book would sound.

How long does it take to record an audiobook? It depends on the length of the book. As a rough guide, one finished hour of audiobook (about 9,000 words) takes several hours to record, edit and check. I’ll agree a clear schedule with you before we start.
