Voiceover for marketing your property

Last week I received several voice overs scripts from a lovely lady at a UK based video production company, specialising in high quality development movies for established property development companies.  It’s estimated that a beautifully produced, property video tour can increase sales leads by as much as 98%!

I thought it was a great idea! Each virtual tour walks a potential buyer through your home or development, showing not only the rooms and general layout, but the voice over (my bit) highlights key features within each room, as well as pointing out luxurious furnishings, high spec finish and stunning views, where appropriate.

The aim is to get the home buyers through your door, or the door of your estate agent or realtor.  Video marketing can be a fantastic tool to show case your property listings in a better way. The idea is to make the prospect feel as though they are actually there, – visualising their life, their family and belongings in this stunning new home.  A house buyer is much more likely to pick up the phone to your agent and request a visit, once you’ve connected with them on a personal level.

The property movies are deliberately short 1 – 3 minutes, just enough to whet the appetite and encourage a call.  My voice over brief for the lovely company’s development movies was ‘natural, friendly, approachable’.  They were fun to prepare and record and a great client.  I needed my ‘smiley’ face on during the recording session. More of the wide-open, smiley face approach in another post
